ABOUT THE FIRM

I have been an attorney in the Fort Worth, Texas area for over fourteen years. During that time I have established a thriving real estate planning and probate practice. I am experienced in the areas of guardianship and trusts and negotiate contracts in real estate and business matters.

Whether the need is to draft a simple will, or an elaborate estate plan, my clients trust me to look after their estate planning needs. If a family member has died, I can guide you through the probate process. If your parent or family member is in need of someone to look after their care, I can help you through the guardianship process in which the court appoints someone to direct and manage their well-being. I am often appointed by the Probate Courts as a "guardian as litem" or "attorney as litem" to represent individuals in Probate Court.

As a solo practitioner, I can provide more personal attention to the needs of my clients. When they call my office, my clients speak to me. I make myself readily available to them and take the time to answer their questions. Estate planning and probate process can often seem overwhelming and complex. I try to make everything straightforward and less intimidating to my clients. They appreciate the openness with which I approach them and their concerns.

I believe it is important to be involved in the community in both a professional and personal capacity. Professionally, I'm currently the Treasurer of the Tarrant County Women's Bar Association. Outside the practice of the law, I am also very active in the Fort Worth community. I currently am President of the Board of the Imagination Celebration of Fort Worth. I work on the site-based committee of Arlington Height High School and am a member of the Rotary and the Junior League of America.
